Implement MBOM Creation Based on Snapshot
When you are manufacturing a material in a specific plant for the first time, you can use the Prepare MBOM Creation app to prepare the MBOM creation based on a selected engineering snapshot. 1-Determine the engineering snapshots. 2-Select the engineering snapshot to be used for manufacturing the product. 3-Identify the EBOM versions contained in the snapshot. 4-View the 3D model (if the snapshot contains a visual file) of the product and the different EBOMs in the 3D model. 5-Select whether you want to use a new or existing change record.

The only difference between BOM structure of PEO and PP is the version number. Here in PEO the BOM is maintained based on version which makes it easy to understand that presently which BOM version is the latest one.
PEO is normally designed by SAP to map any new product development into SAP with great detail. Some of the key functionalities of PEO can be listed out as below.
