Any such false, malicious, or defamatory content whether published online or offline will be subject to civil and criminal legal proceedings under applicable Indian laws including, but not limited to:
Section 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for defamation,
Section 66A, 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and
Section 503 and 505 IPC for criminal intimidation and public mischief.
What constitutes a defamatory statement against Mentors Pool?
A defamatory statement is any false allegation or baseless accusation made with the intent to harm the reputation, trust, or goodwill of Mentors Pool. This includes:
Claims that the institution has taken money without delivering services,
Publicly labeling our programs or trainers as fraudulent without proof,
Posting derogatory comments or manipulated screenshots to mislead potential clients.
